WY-185ES, The Uncompromising DEC VT320-Compatible Terminal
COMPATIBILITY PLUS - The WY-185ES supports the VT320 15 x 12 character resolution while adding overscan for a borderless image, and a non-interlaced 85 Hz industry-fastest refresh rate for flicker-free viewing. Compatibility with industry standards is critical. The WY-185ES 10 x 20 high-resolution mode provides backward compatibility with the DEC VT220 soft font characters. Installation is easy because the WY-185ES has both an industry-standard DB-25 plug, and the unique Wyse modular connector(which accepts both the standard RJ-11 connector and the DEC432 MMJ found on the VT320). The WY-185ES also supports the VT420 style keyboard for complete access to the latest VT320 enhancements.
THE EMISSIONS STANDARD - For those who want low emissions, the WY-185ES is the terminal of choice. It exceeds guidelines for electrostatic very low- and extremely low-frequency electromagnetic emissions recommended in the Swedish MPR 1990:10 publication (MPR II).
